I know I am late but I have been stressed. Today I wanted to relieve some stress and check out something that I love so much...FASHION. Gucci Gucci Goo

I am proud to announce via People magazine that Gucci will be launching a line for children. There will be bibs available for babies 0-24 months and the clothes will be for children between the ages of 2-8 years old. SYTYCD Recap Week Ending 7/2

I had to start with my favorite routine of the night. Check out the video above.

Now down to business. As you see my favorite routine was Alex Wong and Twitch. I also liked Adechike's performance. So after watching all of the performances if they based it off of technique Jose would have gone home long time ago because he is only good in his genre. But I love his personality and I guess America does also. I am not a fan of any of the women this season. I think all of the men are more talented. With that said Melinda was sent home to hang up her tap shoes. We shall see what next week brings us.

Reality Recap of the Week 6/16/10 part II

For those of you who don't know what that stands for you are missing out. This show is So You Think You Can Dance. One of the most amazing shows on the air. So far my favorites are Kent (Ohio native), Alex and Adechike. Sorry ladies none of you have stood out to me yet but the season has just begun. I love the way the show brought back previous contestants to dance with the new contestants. Some of my favorites are back ..... Twitch, Ade, Pasha, Anya and Dominic.

Unfortunately tonight someone is getting kicked off. They will have to dance for their lives or it is back home they go. All of my people got enough votes tonight so I am not worried. Alexie was chosen to go home. To see more about the show please go to http://www.fox.com/dance/.

Reality Recap of the Week 6/16/10 part I

One of my favorite reality shows is back for its new season. The show I am talking about is Design Star. I love watching the creative ideas come to life in a room. This week the contestants were only given 500 dollars for the materials for their white room challenge and were told that they will be shopping at an Asian marketplace. The twist this week was that they were paired with another contestant and had to design the space to the liking of who their partner was. Each had time to ask questions to determine what the person would want in their room. Once at the market they were only given one hour to shop.

During the judges walk through one of the designers threw their partner under the bus. When interviewed she described a lounge type room but when the judges asked if she like the room that he created for her she said he missed her personality all together and that she was more Bohemian Chic. Unfortunately that was not what she told him and he was placed in the bottom six. The judges picked the six favorites and the bottom six have to wait it out.

This season something new is that the people who are in the bottom of the pack will have to create a taped walk through of their space to show their personality on television. So not only will they be judged on their room, they will be judged on their persentation of their room. I love this new element of the competition. In the end Nina won best room and Julie got sent home (good decision).   Here are some of the pictures of the best rooms and then a picture of Julie's room, you will be able to see why she was sent home. Say it with me ... PEDICURES ARE MY FRIEND!!!

Ok ladies if you are going to wear sandals this summer please treat yourself to a pedicure before you do. Cracked feet, chipped polish and peeling  heels are not cute and should be illegal. If you know me you know that I absolutely hate to see clear polish on women's toe nails. Throw some type of color on them. Clear is for Men!!!! Be Bright, Bold, and Beautiful for these summer months. Try yellows, pinks, blues, greens of all shades. Stand out in the world of feet. If those colors are too much for you go classic with a french tip. Just make sure your feet are done. Last buy sandals in a half size bigger for comfort and so your feet do not hang off the front or back, because you WILL I repeat WILL get talked about if you are seen with your toes dangling off the front of you shoes.  Now here are some of my favorite spots to get pedicures from in Columbus, Ohio and its surrounding areas:

Bridesmaid Dresses You Can Wear Again

Last week while I was waiting on my hair stylist to start curling my hair I was shocked to hear how much one of her clients spent on her bridesmaid dress and shoes. She stated that she spent 180 on the dress alone and will never be able to wear the dress again. She spent 60 on the shoes that will be dyed to match the dress.  I can remember my experience spending over 100 on a bridesmaid dress that I never wore again and was inspired to find dresses that can be worn more than once. Primer experiment #2: Beauti Control's Secret Agent Color Primer

Love Love Love this primer. It goes on smooth and also makes your skin feel smooth. It helps your makeup stay on a little longer than normal.  I would totally recommend this primer to everyone. In order to get this product you have to order it from a Beauti Control consultant. If anyone needs one, I know one so let me know : )

Booty Pop Pop Pop....LOL

I know I know...I said that I would update you on the reality shows but darn it there is just one too many. Now that shows are coming to the season finales I feel like I can get back to what I said I was going to do. I told everyone I was having a Jersey overload with all of the reality shows now and that I was not going to watch Jersey Couture but I couldn't help it. I had to check it out. Jersey Couture is centered around a Jersey family owned business selling dresses called Diane and Co. The family includes Diane the mom/boss, Kim eldest daughter, Christina youngest daughter, youngest child Anthony and Sal the father. The store carries all kinds of dresses from wedding, prom, bridesmaides, homecoming and dresses for events like bridal showers, etc. During this first episode the dresses sold were for attending a wedding, prom, a baby shower and a fashion show for charity.

Now let's get down to business...the experience you receive while at the store is very personal and one on one. Each client is given their own stylist to find the dress that is made for her. They make their clients feel important and special. However the mother is waaaayyyy over the top. You hear words like booty pop and viganini. She also calls herself the boobologist specializing in making everyone's boobs look incredible. She is very honest and doesn't hold anything in so if you are not easily offended you will love her.  She is funny. Always dancing and singing around she keeps all of the customers amused.

I don't know how well the show will do but me being the reality freak that I am will be tuning in because it deals with fashion. In case you missed it, the show will be repeating this week on Oxygen on 6/3 at 7AM and 7PM and 6/5 at 2AM just to name a few. Make sure you check it out and let me know what you think. Huggies® Jeans Diapers Hit the Streets!

When in Kroger's shopping I came across the cutest little thing. I saw jean diapers. The diapers were made to look as if your baby was wearing jean shorts instead of diapers. They are super cute. Almost makes you want to have a baby just to buy them...well not really...lol. I have attached one of the advertisements of the jean diapers so you can see them. Hope you enjoy. : )

SATC 2 Premiere

I was honored to attend the sneak preview of SATC in Columbus, Ohio, at the Easton Towne Center. I was totally excited when I received my ticket. This was the first time I had ever been to the movie theater by myself so I was terrified at the same time. Sooooo many emotions but I figured who needs to company to see one of their favorite series, not I....Anywho....I would recommend this movie to all the fans. It was great seeing the ladies come back together to do another one. I was under the assumption that Jennifer Hudson was going to be in this sequel but I am sorry to say she was not. I thought the movie was overall good. I did not like it as much as the first one. I can't say too much sense it isn't out but make sure you go see it then come back and tell me what you think.

How to take Carrie's style and make it your own


Hey you SATC fans, if you are like me you have been waiting for the sequel of SATC to come out to see the fabulous fashions of Carrie Bradshaw. I absolutely love the outrageous fashions of the Bardshaw character.  Some may find her outfits overwhelming but if it is you can always take a piece from it and make it your own.

Lets take this wonderful vintage newspaper dress of Dior's 2000 Fall line. I think it is a dress that would make you stand out in the crowd but it may be a little much for some of you.  However the style of the dress would look amazing on pretty much every body type. Put it with a shoe that adds that pop of color and you are good to go. Now for you stylistas you think this dress is yummy. I would have put it with a red, yellow or royal blue shoe if I wore it. But I love love love the Christian Louboutin open toe booties Carrie is wearing.

The J'adore Dior 8 t-shirt is going to be a hot commodity this s/s.  Everyone wants to find one. My guess to have it to wear to see the new movie. The ball gown is a little much but we all know that is totally Carrie Bradshaw and only someone little and petite can get away with that. However ladies we can snatch the t-shirt pair it with some skinny jeans or boyfriend jeans and throw some heels on with a cute leather jacket.






Everyone loves the white Halston dress. There is nothing I would change about this look. You can add jewelry and shoes that make it your own. This particular dress would look so cute with pair of gladiator shoes for a more casual look then a strappy sandal to dress it up. The blue Halston dress is just as cute. It is very feminine. Like the other dress this one can be paired with cute flats or strappy heels.

I love the peach Halston dress. The assymetrical dress one shoulder dress is very trendy and fab. This dress looks amazing with a strappy sandal. You can add your flavor with special pieces of jewelry of your taste. I would piece the dress with gold accessories and strappy gold shoes.

Fab Find: Guess what ladies I found an inexpensive version of the white Halston dress. I found the similiar dress on http://www.asos.com/ for 43.96 however it only comes in pink or navy.
